On December 29th at 10:57 p.m. Deputy S.C. Jett responded to a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Centreport Parkway and Richmond Highway. The investigation revealed the driver of a 2022 Indian Scout Bobber motorcycle failed to negotiate the turn and laid the motorcycle down. The driver was not injured, but the motorcycle suffered a broken brake lever.
Deputy Jett observed the driver to have an odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath. The driver was arrested and charged with DUI, refusal, obstruction and reckless driving. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
Drive sober or get pulled over.
