On January 19 at 11:32 p.m., Deputy D.S. Jett met with a victim who reported the suspect, James Jackson, 49, of Stafford, had sent her numerous text messages containing threats to harm her. Deputy Jett obtained a warrant for felony threats of death or bodily injury. Jackson remains wanted for this charge as well as a capias warrant for failure to pay child support. The unpaid amount is in excess of $150,000.
