An arranged fight between juveniles could have had a tragic outcome after a firearm was brandished. On June 14th, at approximately 6:27 p.m., deputies with the Special Problems Unit were in the area of the England Run subdivision. While there, they received a report of a possible shooting. Due to the nature of the call, deputies quickly arrived to uncover what had occurred. It was discovered a 14-year-old male and a 15-year-old male had a disagreement. In order to settle the matter, both parties agreed to meet at a nearby park for a fight. The 15-year-old would brandish a firearm at the 14-year-old before all parties separated. Shockingly, no one was injured during the offense. Numerous bystanders witnessed the offense. The 15-year-old involved was known by deputies from previous incidents. He was located and detained within the area. Criminal complaints for brandishing a firearm and underage possession of a firearm were filed. Due to the seriousness of the incident, Juvenile Intake decided to detain the 15-year-old. He was held at the Juvenile Detention Center.
