Three individuals had their public drug gathering interrupted by deputies after a concerned citizen made a simple call.

On January 14th at approximately 10:02 a.m. Deputy I.E. Baldi, along with Deputy B.W. Gildea, responded to Extra Space Storage, located at 2865 Richmond Highway, for a report of drug activity. The caller advised there were people in a gray Volkswagen that appeared to be taking drugs.

Deputy Baldi and Deputy Gildea observed the suspect vehicle still there with three occupants. As they approached the vehicle, Deputy Gildea observed drug paraphernalia on the ground surrounding the vehicle. Due to this, all three occupants were detained. The driver provided a false identity which was quickly foiled. He was identified as Steven Rodriguez, 25, of Stafford. Rodriguez was wanted out of Stafford County for a failure to appear. The other occupants were identified as Daniel Puerto Godoy, 21, of Woodbridge, and Autumn Seboria, 19, of Stafford. All three were found in possession of controlled substances, including suspected fentanyl.

All three were charged with possession of controlled substances. Rodriguez was additionally charged with providing a false identity to law enforcement, identity theft, and an additional charge of possession of controlled substances. Rodriguez and Godoy were held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond while Seboria was held until sober.

Great work to both Deputy Baldi and Deputy Gildea for locating and removing fentanyl from Stafford’s streets.
