Christmas Eve Traffic Stop

A traffic stop involving two wanted Stafford individuals ended with narcotics being located on Christmas Eve.

On December 24th at approximately 8:41 a.m. Deputy J.A. Brooks conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Warrenton Road and Sanford Drive for failure to stop at a stop sign. Nearby deputies responded to assist as the three occupants were being identified.

The first passenger was identified as Ashleigh Sullivan, 31. She was wanted out of Fredericksburg for possession of controlled substances. The second passenger provided a false identification that was quickly uncovered. He was identified as Antonio Wright, 31. He was wanted out of Stafford County for felony probation violation. Not only did the pair share the fact they were wanted, but they both were discovered with suspected controlled substances.

Wright was charged with possession of controlled substances, falsely identifying himself to law enforcement, and identity fraud. He was also served on his outstanding warrant. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. Sullivan was served on her outstanding warrant and was held on $2,500 secured bond. Additional warrants are pending for her. The driver was released with a few traffic summonses.
