A repeat DUI offender was arrested after a traffic stop in South Stafford yesterday.
On August 5th at 12:54 a.m. Deputy D.S. Jett observed a Nissan Rogue failing to maintain the lane of travel on Plantation Drive. A traffic stop was conducted on Armor Court and the driver was identified as a 39-year-old female from Stafford.
The driver had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath and was offered field sobriety tests. She was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI second offense in ten years with a blood alcohol content between .15 and .20. She was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
Drive sober or get pulled over!
