On the evening of December 9, 2016 the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Traffic Safety Checking Detail at the corner of Forbes Street and Manning Drive. The Traffic Safety and Checking Detail was conducted as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign to encourage sober driving practices, especially during the holiday season.
During the two hour time period four arrests for possession of illegal substances were made, one subject was arrested on a probation violation, 2 people were arrested for driving with a suspended license and three traffic summons for expired inspection stickers or vehicle equipment violations were issued.
