Arrest Made for Forgeries in Multiple Jurisdictions

Stafford County Sheriff’s Deputy B.J. Reed arrested a 28-year-old Richmond man for Forging Coin and Bank Notes, Obtaining Money by False Pretenses, Possession of Controlled Substances, Conspiracy, Possessing Forged Coin or Bank Notes and Providing False Identification to Law Enforcement at the Stafford Market Place Panera on Friday, May 6. Antwan Clio Graham attempted to pass a $100 forged note to the clerk at Panera to purchase a $10 gift card. The clerk tested the bill and found it to be counterfeit. The store then contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Reed immediately responded, detained and interviewed the suspect. He had ten $100 bills in his possession. Graham had active warrants from Henrico, Colonial Heights, Hanover and Richmond. Graham was taken to the magistrate and served warrants from all aforementioned jurisdictions in addition to the Stafford charges. He was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
